Task Associate

The Task Associate (TA) is responsible for delivering operational excellence in support of sales drivers, providing the foundation for an exceptional experience for all guests. This role keeps fixtures stocked, maintains store cleanliness, and completes assigned tasks while supporting the Merchandise Manager (MM) and Operations Manager (OM) through a focus on performance, people, and process.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to meeting or exceeding the store’s retail goals by ensuring tasks are executed as planned and product is available for purchase.
• Meet compliance and execution goals related to the task dashboard, including timely completion of shipment and replenishment processes, merchandise sets, and inventory counts.
• Maintain prompt, regular attendance.
• Foster an inclusive environment that supports teammates, peers, and guests.
• Participate in ongoing training, including brand and category education, to drive professional development and sales performance.
• Ensure compliance with Ulta Beauty’s policies, procedures, and standards, including adherence to the dress code.
• Complete merchandise resets, planograms, marketing displays, physical inventory procedures, and shipment processing using Ulta Beauty’s technology and best practices.
• Drive operational excellence by keeping assigned work areas replenished, signed, and faced, and ensuring testers are available.
• Maintain outstanding store standards and cleanliness, including sales floor, restrooms, cash wrap, backroom, and break area.
• Protect company assets by following loss prevention best practices and providing exceptional guest service.
• Execute other operational tasks as directed.

Requirements

• High school diploma is preferred.
• 1 year of relevant work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Proficient with basic technology (e.g., Point of Sale system and Apple devices).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Schedule

• Work a flexible schedule to include early mornings, days, evenings, weekends, overnights, and holidays.

Working Conditions

• Continuous mobility throughout the store during shift.
• Frequent standing, bending, pulling, pushing, reaching, and twisting.
• Continuous and/or frequent lifting, carrying, and/or moving up to 25 lbs.
• Continuous coordination and manipulation of objects.
