About the role
This position is contingent upon award of contract. We are seeking a Mid-level Targeting Analyst to support the Air Combat Command (ACC) Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) operations.
Responsibilities
- Develops targets and target systems for joint lethal and / or non-lethal engagements.
- Develops target nominations, creates database records, and databases target intelligence products.
- Applies doctrinal targeting processes (e.g., F2T2EA or equivalent) to mission requirements
- Produces all-source analytic damage estimates and battle damage assessments and assists with combat assessment requirements.
- Conducts collateral damage estimation, performs target list management, target strategy development, and provides joint target intelligence support to deliberate and dynamic target engagements.
- Provides recommendations for target prioritization to achieve commander objectives for plans and operations.
- Provides database nominations, creates, and updates database and uploads TMs into databases.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of targeting principles, methodologies, and tradecraft
- Ability to integrate intelligence from multiple sources and disciplines
- Experience producing targeting packages and operational decision-support products
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications, including briefings
- Ability to operate independently in a fast-paced, classified environment
- Proficiency with standard office tools and intelligence systems
- Strong knowledge and experience using ICD 203/206 tradecraft standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree + 6 years' experience OR Associate's + 8 years' intelligence or targeting experience.
- Minimum 10 years intelligence or targeting experience in lieu of no degree; At least part of the required experience must be within the past two (2) years.
