Responsibilities

• Operate target devices, perform device and grounds maintenance and supply safety and facility use assistance in direct support of military live fire training on modern state of the art tank, infantry squad/platoon, and direct fire range complexes.
• Perform duties during day, night, and all weather conditions.
• Attend and receive certification for overseeing Indiana Department of Corrections crew.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of, and ability to inspect, analyze and install electronic equipment.
• Extensive knowledge of standard theories, methods, procedures, materials, test equipment and tools of the electronics field.
• Working knowledge of, and ability to utilize, repair manuals, schematics, and parts catalogs.
• Working knowledge of hazards peculiar to high voltage electronics equipment and applicable safety procedures.
• Working knowledge of various power regulations throughout the state.
• Ability to analyze, diagnose and correct malfunctions of a wide variety of electronic equipment.
• Ability to establish professional and technical contacts with manufacturers, suppliers, and vendors of electronic equipment.
• Ability to maintain and update files on equipment and counts.

Qualifications

• Four (4) years of experience in repair and/or maintenance of electronic components and equipment.
• A High School Diploma or High School Equivalent (HSE).
• Required to attend and receive certification for overseeing an Indiana Department of Corrections work crew.
• Working knowledge of fire code, IOSHA requirements, facility departmental and state policies and procedures, federal, state and local building codes.

Pay
