Target Optical - Assistant Manager
About the role
The Assistant Manager at Target Optical is responsible for delivering the Target Optical Way and the Guest Experience. They lead the team to achieve profitable store sales and provide a fun and stylish fashion experience.
Responsibilities
- Builds plans to deliver profitable store sales.
- Delivers the daily sales goal by executing the WOW! Guest Experience behaviors.
- Influences and inspires the team to deliver a best-in-class experience by modeling the Target Optical Way.
- Provides floor leadership to ensure guests receive a “best in class” experience.
- Recruits, interviews, trains, develops, motivates, and retains Brand Right Optical Team Members (OTM).
- Supports the Optical Store Manager with maintaining professional business partnerships with the Target Optical doctor and Target Host.
- Supports the Store Manager with Team Member accountability by providing coaching and development to deliver the WOW! Guest Experience through regular touch bases.
- Ensures compliance with eSchedule, Guest Retention, Guest Driving Behaviors, and all current Brand initiatives.
- Partners with the Store Manager to ensure all operating policies and procedures are followed.
- Models the Target Optical Personal Style Dress Code.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- ABO Certified (preferred).
- 2+ years retail or customer service experience.
