About the role

As a Target Analyst Reporter Level 1 at Independent Software, you will research, analyze, and report intelligence in support of mission requirements. You will evaluate information from multiple sources, develop intelligence products, and provide timely reporting that supports customer decision-making and situational awareness. In this role, you will collaborate with collectors and analysts to refine collection and reporting requirements, build target knowledge, and ensure intelligence products are accurate, relevant, and ready for release.

Responsibilities

  • Research, analyze, and report intelligence in response to mission requirements
  • Assess and evaluate information from multiple sources to identify relevant intelligence
  • Prepare and disseminate intelligence products using appropriate reporting vehicles
  • Identify and report developments, trends, indications and warnings, and situational awareness related to specific targets
  • Collaborate with collectors and analysts to refine collection and reporting requirements
  • Share target-related information and provide feedback to customers
  • Develop and maintain databases and working aids to build target knowledge and improve collection
  • Identify potential countermeasures and courses of action when applicable
  • Perform pre-release quality control of intelligence products

Requirements

  • Experience researching, analyzing, and reporting intelligence
  • Experience with SIGINT reporting and collection
  • Experience using CSPACE and/or RAD for intelligence analysis or reporting
  • Knowledge of relevant intelligence tools and methodologies
  • Ability to evaluate and synthesize information from multiple sources
  • Strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with collectors, analysts, and customers

Qualifications

Candidates must meet one of the following:

  • High school diploma or GED plus six (6) years of relevant experience; OR
  • Associate’s degree plus four (4) years of relevant experience; OR
  • Bachelor’s degree plus two (2) years of relevant experience

A degree in a liberal arts field such as English, History, Communications, Languages and Cultures, International Relations, or Political Science is preferred; however, a degree in any field is acceptable.

Must possess an active TS/SCI with appropriate Polygraph to be considered for this role.
