TANNERY ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR

Responsibilities

• Aid the plant controller with accounting routines (SG&A, COGS, accruals, reconciliations, etc.)
• Create and analyze managerial profit and loss (P&L) statements
• Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closings according to US GAAP and managerial standards
• Participate in annual budget preparation
• Analyze cost and expense breakdowns
• Manage, train, and develop a team of 02 people
• Coordinate and ensure compliance with storeroom procedures
• Plan and request inventory replenishment
• Review and manage inventory levels to maintain optimal stock
• Execute cycle counting routine to verify physical and book balances
• Handle invoice generation from international vendors to accounts payable
• Monitor and report on account receivables, including aging and past-due accounts
• Support the plant controller during post-audit reviews and special projects
• Assist the plant controller with other tasks as assigned

Requirements

• Advanced Excel skills
• Prior experience with accounting and/or inventory management is required
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Well-organized, goal-oriented, independent worker with quick learning capabilities
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with strong time-management and multitasking skills
• Associates/Bachelor’s degree in accounting or Business Administration, Economics
• 10 years of experience may substitute for education
