Tanker Washer

About the role

Play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient operations by ensuring tankers meet the highest sanitation and readiness standards. As a Tanker Washer, you will operate specialized washing equipment, move and position tankers throughout the facility, and perform thorough cleaning and sanitation procedures that help keep production running smoothly. You will inspect equipment to verify compliance with sanitation requirements and contribute to a team committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Responsibilities

• Operate jockey truck or tractor truck to move and spot oil tankers.
• Operate truck washing equipment.
• Wash and sanitize oil tankers.
• Inspect trailers to ensure they meet established sanitation requirements.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• Willing and able to learn to maneuver trucks to meet refinery schedule needs.
• Good communication, math, and analytical skills.
• Some computer experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).

Physical Requirements and Environmental Factors

• Move freely throughout the wash bay facility, including climbing vertical heights (0–25').
• Carry equipment (0–45 pounds).
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (0–100°F), humidity (0–100%), noise (50db–100db), and chemicals (MSDS sheets available).
• Must be able to wear protective equipment.

Pay

Target wage of $17.50 - $26.50 per hour, based on shift, experience, and qualifications. Annual bonus available (variable depending on performance). Overtime may be available.
