About the role

Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT

Responsibilities

• Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck
• Transport and unload chemicals into customers’ tanks safely and with the required paperwork
• Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections
• Comply with all Company, Customer Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations
• Become familiar with plant operating procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience
• Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience
• A valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements
• A clean driving record for the past three (3) years
• Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card
• Able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely

• Must be "fit for duty"

Skills

• Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling
• Occasional lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds
