Tanker Driver
About the role
Tanker Driver, CDL A HAZMAT position available at Chemtrade. Primary location is 1660 Campbell Street, Toledo, OH 43607. Full-time schedule. Position offers a $5,000 signing bonus, repayable if employment ends within 12 months.
Responsibilities
- Load, transfer, and unload raw product from a tanker truck
- Transport and unload chemicals into customers' tanks safely and with the required paperwork
- Safely handle hoses during loading and unloading
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections
- Comply with all Company, Customer, Federal, State, and Local laws, rules and regulations
- Become familiar with plant operating procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Minimum two (2) years of recent tractor/tanker experience
- Minimum one (1) year of recent tanker experience
- Valid Commercial Driver's License, CDL Class A, with appropriate hazmat and tanker endorsements
- Clean driving record for the past three (3) years
- Physically qualified to drive a motor vehicle and provide a valid medical card
- Able to provide proof of experience or training to operate the type of motor vehicle used by Chemtrade safely

Pay
$30.47-$33.50 per hour USD, depending on qualifications. The range shown reflects the targeted pay scale. Actual pay within the range depends on work location and factors such as skills, experience, and education. Specific salary details can be discussed during the hiring process.
