About the role

Tank Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of storage tanks used in industrial processes. This includes inspecting tanks for leaks, corrosion, and other defects, and documenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Inspect storage tanks for leaks, corrosion, and other defects
• Document findings and report issues to appropriate personnel
• Follow safety protocols and procedures during inspections
• Work closely with maintenance teams to address identified issues

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 2 years of experience in tank inspection or related field
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using inspection equipment such as borescopes and ultrasonic testers
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication skills to interact with various departments

Skills

• Knowledge of industrial tank systems
• Experience with quality control procedures
• Basic understanding of chemical processes
