About the role

Renaissance Baton Rouge is seeking part-time Restaurant Servers who will report to the Outlet Manager/Supervisor. The primary responsibilities include providing high-quality service to guests, receiving and delivering orders, and collecting payments. Candidates must be able to stand throughout the shift and move around the dining area while carrying trays.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, courteous, and efficient service to guests
• Receive and deliver guests' orders and collect payment
• Pre-bus tables, removing soiled dishes after each course
• Operate POS system and perform cashiering functions
• Perform opening and closing procedures and side work duties
• Break down soiled dishes and linen according to standards
• Answer the telephone according to standards
• Up-sell food, beverage, and promotional items to guests

Requirements

• ABC and RV Permits required
• Familiarity with restaurant operations and menu knowledge
• Ability to stand and move throughout the dining area
• Basic computer skills for POS system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a similar role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
