About the Opportunity

The Talent Research Associate plays a crucial role in supporting the talent acquisition team by identifying and mapping exceptional candidates across various business functions. This role is key to building a strong recruitment pipeline, influencing hiring strategies, and enabling the company to scale its teams effectively. It offers the chance to contribute to strategic talent sourcing and develop into a recruiting or sourcing leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Build proactive talent pipelines across Product, Engineering, Corporate, Merchandising, Marketing, Creative, and other business functions.
  • Conduct market mapping to identify target companies, talent pools, and competitive landscapes.
  • Research talent markets, competitor companies, and talent pools.
  • Provide market intelligence to recruiters and hiring leaders for finding high-performing talent.
  • Surface market insights, competitive intelligence, and hiring trends.
  • Use data and market insights to identify top feeder companies, schools, and candidate backgrounds.
  • Support high-priority executive and hard-to-fill searches through deep research and talent intelligence.

Requirements

  • 0–4 years of experience in a professional environment, preferably in recruiting research, sourcing, executive search, or related analytical roles.
  • Strong curiosity and ability to quickly understand new industries, functions, and talent markets.
  • Excellent research skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with data and recognizing patterns to enhance sourcing strategies.
  • Strong written communication skills for crafting outreach.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple searches simultaneously.
  • Bias for action and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking about sourcing exceptional candidates.
  • Ability to quickly learn new functions and adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Operates with urgency while maintaining quality.
  • Enjoys collaborating with recruiters and hiring managers to address hiring challenges.

Pay Range and Compensation Package

Pay Range $80,000—$130,000 USD
Bonus and equity may also be provided for eligible roles.
