About Ode

Ode is Anthropic's team dedicated to bringing frontier AI into practice. We are a group of experienced builders focused on turning complex AI systems into real-world impact, collaborating closely with Applied AI and Product teams.

What You'll Do

• Source exceptional talent: Identify and engage top candidates, with a primary focus on engineering hiring.
• Own the candidate experience end-to-end: Build trust, understand motivations, and ensure a high-signal, high-quality process for every candidate.
• Build on a high-performing recruiting process: Evolve an existing system using data, AI, and experimentation to refine how we evaluate and close talent.

What You Bring

• Track record of hiring top talent: Successfully hired founding engineers or staff/principal engineers in early-stage or high-growth environments.
• Strong judgment and empathy: Know what great looks like and build trust quickly with candidates and hiring teams.
• Data-driven and experimental mindset: Use data and experimentation to improve sourcing, evaluation, and closing candidates.
• Technical fluency: Understand modern engineering stacks and assess how candidates map to team needs.
• High ownership with a bias for leverage: Operate with precision and follow-through, looking for ways to scale impact through tooling, automation, and AI.
