The Role

As part of our talent team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and closing exceptional talent for Fractional AI. Your responsibilities will include sourcing top candidates, owning the candidate experience end-to-end, and building a high-performing recruiting process.

What You'll Do

• Source exceptional talent: Identify and engage top candidates, with a primary focus on engineering hiring.
• Own the candidate experience end-to-end: From first touch through close, build trust, understand motivations, and ensure a high-signal, high-quality process for every candidate.
• Build on a high-performing recruiting process: Come alongside a strong existing system and help evolve it—bringing new ideas and using data, AI, and experimentation to refine how we evaluate and close talent.

What You Bring

• Track record of hiring top talent: Successfully hired founding engineers or staff/principal engineers in early-stage or high-growth environments.
• Strong judgment and empathy: Know what great looks like and build trust quickly with candidates and hiring teams.
• Data-driven and experimental mindset: Use data and experimentation to improve how you source, evaluate, and close candidates.
• Technical fluency: Understand modern engineering stacks and can credibly assess how candidates map to team needs.
• High ownership with a bias for leverage: Operate with precision and follow-through, and look for ways to scale your impact through tooling, automation, and AI.
