Responsibilities

- Build relationships with families and communities

- Support the unique gifts, talents, and interests of every student
- Collaborate with building administrators, instructional coaches, and equity specialists
- Implement Culturally Responsive Teaching model
Requirements
- Valid teaching license with gifted education add-on endorsement OR
- A valid teaching license in any subject with one year of teaching experience and enrollment in a gifted education add-on endorsement program
Qualifications
- Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Virginia teaching certificate with the Gifted Education add-on
- Candidates endorsed in Middle School with a willingness to pursue an endorsement in Gifted Education may be considered
