About the role
The Talent Development & Inclusion team is looking for a contractor to own the Palo Alto and Americas New Hire Orientation experience and drive TD&I measurement and insights, while supporting learner-centered design across the team's programs. You'll be the in-person face of Day 1 for new hires in Palo Alto, own the survey and feedback infrastructure that tells us whether our programs are working, and turn that data into insights the broader team can act on. You will partner closely with the Global TD&I team and with Palo Alto-based HRBPs, People Partners, and leaders.
Responsibilities
- Redesign and facilitate in-person New Hire Orientation in Palo Alto (45 minutes each Monday in office), ensuring it reflects the company’s culture, AI-native direction, and multi-product platform.
- Own the New Hire Orientation (NHO) strategy globally—define what’s next, refine content, codify "how we run orientation," and enable a small bench of volunteer facilitators from across functions.
- Drive a cohesive measurement strategy for the team. Administer Talent Development and Inclusion surveys and occasional 360 feedback surveys; build and maintain instruments, manage cycles, and ensure clean data flows.
- Build and maintain the TD&I scorecard (talent density signals, program reach, manager metrics, inclusion of AI practices where relevant).
- Analyze feedback and usage data to generate insights on learner experience and recommend changes that increase engagement and business relevance.
- Act as event producer for quarterly Palo Alto and Americas learning events, bringing creativity and excellence to create a great experience (e.g., local development sessions and manager programs).
- Provide occasional light consulting support to Palo Alto-based HRBPs, People Partners, and leaders on how to use Talent Development and Inclusion signature offerings (NHO, AI learning events, Development Days, manager programs, top talent programs, async resources, and more) to address their specific needs.
- Bring a highly AI-literate lens to all work to accelerate impact.
