About the role

The Kaniksu Community Health Kid’s Club provides affordable on-site childcare to the children of our team members. Our Kid’s Club, housed in a newly opened, purpose-built, state-of-the-art building, offers a fun, safe, nurturing environment where children aged 0-5 years old are encouraged to learn and develop through play-based activities.

Responsibilities

• Foster a fun and safe classroom environment conducive to learning
• Work with children and remain friendly, calm, and patient at all times
• Set rules and guidelines for children to follow
• Maintain a tidy and neat classroom
• Provide high-quality care and education

Requirements

• A genuine passion for working with young children
• A basic understanding of child behavior and learning patterns
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Solid organizational skills
• First Aid and CPR certification preferred but not essential

Pay

Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Full-time or part-time up to 40 hours per week, with schedules including 4x10s or 5x8s.
