Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Sources and attracts candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, networking, job fairs, and referrals.
  • Screens resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
  • Conducts initial phone screenings and interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for the role.
  • Coordinates and schedules interviews with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Facilitates the selection process, including administering assessments, conducting reference checks, and extending job offers.
  • Develops and maintains strong relationships with candidates, ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Utilizes applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools to manage candidate pipelines and track recruitment metrics.
  • Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition to continuously improve recruitment processes.
  • Produces daily and weekly reports regarding recruitment endeavors.
  • Keeps employment records for future utilization.
  • Assists with other related tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Talent Acquisition Specialist, Recruiter, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of recruitment principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment tools.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity.

Qualifications

  • Education: Associate Degree, Certification, or Equivalent Combination of Training and Experience.
  • Min. Years Experience: 2 years.

Skills

Pay

Starting compensation is based on experience.

Schedule

The job operates in a professional office environment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee will be largely sedentary and will be required to sit/stand for long periods while using a computer and telephone headset. The employee will be regularly required to operate a computer and other office equipment, including a phone, copier, and printer. The employee may occasionally be required to move about the office to accomplish tasks; reach in any direction; raise or lower objects, move objects from place to place, hold onto objects, and move or exert force up to forty (40) pounds.
