About the role
You will shape the talent acquisition strategy across US for Science & Technology. You will play a critical role in allowing our business growth by ensuring we attract, engage, and hire high-quality talent at scale by partnering closely with our teams and external partners across multiple regions. You will also be a strategic partner and advisor for C-level stakeholders, senior business and HR leaders, collaborating with global partners and multiple Centers of Excellence to provide efficient and future-ready talent acquisition solutions.
Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end recruitment for high-level technical and leadership roles across Research and Development (R&D), Product Development (PD), and Science & Application Technology.
- Lead talent attraction for critical global centers, including the Global Coatings Innovation Center and Specialized Materials divisions, ensuring a steady influx of talent in advanced technical disciplines.
- Design and scale the enterprise PhD Recruitment Program, establishing strategic partnerships with top-tier universities to secure a future pipeline of scientists and researchers for the S&T community.
- Navigate niche talent markets to source experts in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, and emerging Science & Technology fields critical to maintaining a competitive edge in innovation.
- Act as a senior advisor to R&D and S&T leadership, providing data-driven market insights and Product Development talent trends to influence long-term workforce planning.
- Partner with business heads to design recruitment strategies that align specifically with the technical roadmaps and Product Development (PD) lifecycle of the organization.
- Spearhead global innovation projects by implementing AI-powered recruiting tools and digital solutions tailored to identify high-caliber technical and scientific talent.
- Leverage Workday Recruiting, Phenom, and financial analytics to monitor performance and improve quality-of-hire metrics across all Science & Technology business units.
- Oversee recruiting operations with a rigorous focus on delivering measurable diversity outcomes and exceptional candidate experience within the Research and Development community.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in Talent Acquisition within global organizations.
- 2+ years of experience focused exclusively on Science & Technology or Research & Development recruitment with people leadership and team management experience, leading large or distributed recruiting teams.
- Analytical Strategy: Advanced data interpretation and financial skills, with the ability to translate complex insights into applicable recruitment strategies.
- Strategic Planning: Experienced in using market data to lead demand-planning and organizational forecasting.
