Acarin Inc is seeking an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our growing IT consulting team in Columbia, Maryland. You will lead recruitment efforts for technical positions, with a focus on government agency placements, while ensuring compliance with all hiring regulations and building strategic partnerships to enhance our talent pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and recruit qualified candidates for IT positions, with emphasis on software developer roles for government agencies
- Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and strategic hiring partners
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from job posting through onboarding, ensuring seamless candidate experience
- Ensure all hiring practices comply with HR regulations, government contracting requirements, and equal opportunity guidelines
- Conduct behavioral and technical interviews to assess candidate fit for both technical requirements and cultural alignment
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruitment metrics in applicant tracking systems
- Lead onboarding processes to ensure smooth transition for new hires into their roles
- Stay current with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and competitive landscape in IT talent acquisition
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT recruitment and talent acquisition
- Proven experience recruiting software developers and technical professionals for government agencies
- Strong knowledge of HR compliance requirements, hiring regulations, and onboarding best practices
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruitment technologies
