About the role
We are seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to play a critical role in sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent across various functions within our organization. This role requires a creative and strategic thinker who can effectively manage the full recruitment lifecycle, from job posting and candidate sourcing to interviewing and onboarding.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and extending offers
- Utilize a variety of channels (job boards, social media, networking events, employee referrals) to source and attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and promote our employer brand, ensuring that we attract candidates who align with our company culture and values
- Ensure a positive and seamless experience for all candidates, from initial contact through onboarding
- Build and maintain relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide guidance throughout the hiring process
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and recruitment best practices to ensure our hiring strategies are competitive and effective
- Ensure all recruitment activities are in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as company policies
- Handle special projects as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in recruitment
- At least two to four years handling all phases of the recruitment and hiring process in a fast-paced environment (highly preferred)
- Proven experience recruiting for high-demand positions in a manufacturing workshop environment (e.g., Machinists)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics
- Ability to create and implement sourcing strategies for recruitment across a variety of roles within the industry
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment
- Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant-tracking software or other recruitment systems
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
