About the role

We're looking for an experienced, self-motivated, and dynamic Consulting Recruiter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to use your full-cycle recruiting skills to identify, engage, and hire individuals with disabilities and nonprofits for our organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the recruitment process from beginning to end, including posting jobs, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, checking references, and facilitating onboarding.
  • Work closely with our management team to understand their hiring needs and build a pipeline of quality candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations and community partners that serve individuals with disabilities.
  • Share employment opportunities throughout the nonprofit network and encourage candidate referrals.
  • Interview and assess candidates to understand their skills, interests, and employment goals.
  • Guide candidates through the application process while providing an inclusive, supportive experience.
  • Match qualified candidates to employment opportunities based on their abilities and career objectives.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers, workforce partners, and referral organizations to understand hiring priorities.
  • Aid candidates with interview preparation, background documentation, and onboarding requirements.
  • Develop candidate pipelines through networking, outreach, and community engagement.
  • Track recruiting activity, referrals, and placement outcomes.
  • Represent the organization's mission with professionalism, compassion, and integrity.

Preferred Background

  • 2–5 years of experience in human services, workforce development, recruiting, employment services, or related fields.
  • Experience working directly with individuals with disabilities, particularly intellectual and developmental disabilities.
  • Background as a Job Coach, Employment Specialist, Vocational Counselor, DSP, Case Manager, or similar role.
  • Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Passion for creating employment opportunities through inclusive hiring practices.
