About the role

We're seeking a skilled and highly motivated Talent Advisor (Recruiter) to join our Talent Acquisition team. As a member of our Talent Acquisition team, you will play a critical role in identifying, attracting, evaluating, and hiring top talent to drive our organization's success.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a seamless and exceptional hiring experience for Hiring Managers and candidates by participating in activities including candidate sourcing, pre-screening, offer creation, and salary negotiation.
  • Develop and implement effective sourcing and outreach strategies to attract top talent for strategic positions.
  • Build and maintain our employment brand through networking, social media, community and school outreach.
  • Maintain accountability for key recruitment metrics, such as time-to-hire, to optimize recruitment results, reduce hiring cycles, and improve overall talent acquisition performance.
  • Interface with BAE Systems SMS management and employees, communicating and interpreting established policies, procedures, and laws.
  • Ensure adherence to established hiring processes and procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units and the Company.
  • Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
  • Perform other duties as necessary.

Requirements

This position requires regular in-person engagement by working on-site three or more days each normally scheduled week in the primary work location. Travel and local commute between company campuses and other possible non-company locations may be required.

Working Conditions

Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.

Education, Experience, & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Each higher-level degree, i.e., Master’s Degree or Ph.D., may substitute for two years of experience.
  • Related technical experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency to fill job positions with qualified candidates.
  • Demonstrated business acumen and quality decision-making skills.
  • Detail-oriented nature with the ability to follow established hiring processes.
  • Willingness to travel locally and maintain confidentiality.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

  • 1-2 years of recruiting experience for exempt business and/or technical professionals.
  • Recruiting experience within the aerospace/defense industry.
  • Experience utilizing an applicant tracking system.
  • Experience with sourcing tools, such as LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience with emerging talent hiring and outreach.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $56401 - $95881

Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
