Sources & Selection
- Referral Development: Develop and nurture effective referral sources within the office and the community to generate qualified leads.
- Recruitment Management: Oversee the entire recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, screening, conducting first interviews, administering screening tools, and guiding candidates through the selection process.
- Resume Review: Assess resumes and conduct initial interviews with potential candidates.
- Ongoing Communication: Maintain relationships with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Community Engagement: Actively participate in community clubs and organizations to promote the office and the Northwestern Mutual brand.
- Recruitment Strategies: Coordinate recruitment strategies, leveraging referrals, philanthropic opportunities, and local events.
- Collaboration: Work with other Northwestern Mutual recruiters to share leads and best practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of equivalent work experience.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in sales, recruiting, or a related field; financial services industry experience is a plus.
- Team Interaction: Proven ability to work professionally as part of a team and interact effectively at all levels.
- Lead Generation: Experience in prospecting and generating leads via phone and face-to-face interactions.
- Sourcing Platforms: Knowledge of LinkedIn, Indeed, Handshake, and other sourcing platforms.
- Networking: Strong network of personal/professional advocates or active community involvement.
Pay
Full-time, 40-hour work week, exempt position. Competitive pay starting at $65,000 - $95,000 annually based on experience. Bonuses for achieving targeted recruitment goals.
