Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for regional Personal Care Aide staff, from sourcing candidates to onboarding.
  • Travel regularly between Corning, Hornell, and Elmira to represent the company at job fairs, hiring events, and orientations/skills testing (approximately 25% travel).
  • Spearhead initiatives to identify, attract, and engage talent for regional positions.
  • Analyze regional needs and establish relationships with diverse talent pools through online platforms, industry networks, and community events.
  • Perform candidate prescreening and interviews, and maintain the regional tracker to track candidate progress.
  • Manage the recruitment and onboarding life-cycle for PCA employees, including pre-employment activities and new hire orientation.
  • Create and maintain employee files in HRIS/Payroll, Learning Management, and EMR systems.
  • Review all onboarding paperwork, including tax forms, I-9s, and company-specific forms, for accuracy and completion.
  • Ensure departmental and positional reports are accurately filled out in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Human Resources or related field and 1 year of Recruiting/HR experience, or
  • 2+ years of Recruiting or HR experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and HRIS/payroll systems
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain confidentiality
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and private, reliable transportation
  • Willingness to travel between office locations and events
