About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will source, qualify, and recommend candidates for various company positions. This role develops and executes effective recruiting strategies, partners with hiring managers, builds strong candidate pipelines, conducts interviews, and manages candidates throughout the hiring process. The ideal candidate will have strong recruiting and sales skills, excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate within recruiting plan to attract talent based on business needs.
  • Implement and utilize effective recruitment strategies, including advertising, database searches, sourcing active and passive candidates, networking, internal and external referrals, social media, college/university recruiting, and job fairs.
  • Screen candidate resumes to ensure required skill sets for open positions.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews and make recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Develop and manage relationships with community organizations and agencies to identify a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Build and maintain relationships with candidates to establish a pipeline for future positions.
  • Maintain all required recruiting activity and reporting information in the ATS.
  • Create job offers and present them to candidates.
  • Ensure candidates pass all required background checks.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of cumulative sales-related or recruiting experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related discipline preferred.
  • Corporate recruiting experience and/or recruitment experience within a Financial Institution preferred.
  • Outstanding sales and persuasiveness skills.
  • Basic-to-intermediate PC skills and ability to use Microsoft Office programs (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Excellent verbal, written, non-verbal, and listening communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to manage time, multitask, and handle stress to ensure tasks are completed timely and consistently.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks by prioritizing effectively.
  • Proven ability to establish relationships.
  • Proven ability to recruit candidates using various methods, including advertising, database searches, sourcing active and passive candidates, networking, referrals, social media, college/university recruiting, and job fairs.

Pay

$35/hr. - $50/hr.
