The Talent Acquisition Specialist drives daily recruitment operations by managing candidate screening, scheduling, and administrative processes to deliver a seamless experience for applicants and hiring managers. This role supports internal mobility initiatives to promote employee career growth and actively identifies process improvements and automation opportunities to optimize hiring efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment Operations & Candidate Screening: Review applications, perform initial candidate screenings, and maintain consistent communication throughout the hiring lifecycle.
  • Interview Logistics & Support: Coordinate interview schedules for candidates, ensuring a top-tier candidate experience.
  • Internal Mobility Initiatives: Guide current UF Health employees through internal transfer processes, promoting career development pathways within the health system.
  • Process Optimization & Automation: Identify workflow bottlenecks in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), recommend automated solutions, and support projects that enhance TA efficiency.
  • Onboarding & Pre-Boarding Coordination: Facilitate offer letters, background checks, license verification, and credentialing workflows in collaboration with the onboarding team.

Qualifications

Education: Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field or experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in talent acquisition, recruitment coordination, human resources, or administrative support functions. Experience working within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS platforms.
