Duties and responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruiting process for assigned roles, from intake through offer and onboarding, with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and cultural alignment.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the hiring process, ensuring a professional, responsive, and positive experience.
  • Proactively source both active and passive candidates using LinkedIn, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and other creative sourcing methods.
  • Post and manage job openings across internal and external platforms, utilizing thoughtful sourcing strategies.
  • Partner closely with the Sr. Talent Acquisition Specialist and hiring managers to understand business needs, role priorities, and evolving hiring plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, dispositions, and documentation within the applicant tracking system to ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws.
  • Communicate hiring decisions clearly and professionally, including extending and negotiating offers and delivering rejections when appropriate.
  • Assist with interview scheduling, onboarding coordination, and post-hire follow-up to support a smooth and welcoming new-hire experience.
  • Stay informed on recruiting trends, tools, and best practices, and contribute ideas to improve Trajan's hiring processes as the company grows.
  • Support HR initiatives and administrative functions as part of cross-functional development, gaining exposure to broader people operations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Communications, or Business.
  • 3+ years progressive professional Recruiting experience.
  • Strong bias for action; a keen sense of urgency and the ability to drive results.
  • Sophisticated influencing and negotiating skills.
  • Strong written/verbal communication skills.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.

Pay

$75,000 to $90,000 per year base salary plus production bonus.
