Talent Acquisition Specialist
6-month contract opportunity supporting engineering, professional, and plant-level recruiting efforts throughout Metro Detroit.
About the role
This role is ideal for a recruiting professional with experience sourcing and hiring technical talent in a manufacturing or engineering environment. As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will manage full-cycle recruiting activities, partner with hiring teams, support onboarding processes, and help attract top talent for critical engineering and plant positions.
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruiting for engineering, professional, and plant-level positions
- Source, screen, and identify qualified candidates to meet hiring needs
- Create and maintain job postings across recruiting platforms
- Partner with hiring managers to understand position requirements and develop effective recruiting strategies
- Coordinate and support interview processes, including scheduling and candidate communication
- Assist with onboarding activities to ensure a smooth candidate transition
- Maintain accurate candidate records and recruiting activity updates
- Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
Requirements
- Recruiting experience supporting engineering and plant-level positions required
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes
- Strong understanding of technical and manufacturing talent markets
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple open positions and priorities in a fast-paced environment
