About the role
Prime Healthcare, an award-winning health system operating 54 hospitals and over 360 outpatient locations across 15 states, is seeking a Healthcare Recruiter for its Talent Acquisition team in the Illinois region. This full-time, temporary position offers regular business hours at Prime Healthcare Saint Joseph Medical Center in Joliet, IL.
Responsibilities
- Conduct full-cycle recruitment for clinical and non-clinical healthcare positions in a fast-paced environment.
- Leverage advanced sourcing strategies, ATS and CRM systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed tools, and Boolean search techniques to identify and engage top talent.
- Partner with hiring leaders to execute strategic workforce plans that meet immediate staffing needs and long-term organizational goals.
- Utilize iCIMS ATS and CRM systems to maintain candidate pipelines and accurate records.
- Screen candidates to verify qualifications, licensure, certifications, and alignment with role requirements.
- Coordinate interviews and collaborate with hiring managers to support hiring decisions.
- Track key recruitment metrics including time-to-fill, source-of-hire, pipeline health, and requisition status.
- Represent the organization at career fairs and conduct campus outreach to build and maintain a strong new graduate pipeline.
- Support positive candidate experience and employer branding initiatives.
Qualifications
Required
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience developing and negotiating job offers.
- Experience with electronic applicant tracking systems.
- Experience using a variety of sourcing techniques to attract active and passive candidates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Demonstrates positive interpersonal and effective communication skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or a related field.
- Two years of talent acquisition experience, including sourcing, screening, and interviewing, with healthcare experience.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $65,520 to $88,171 on an annualized basis. The exact starting compensation will be determined based on factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
