About the Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for attracting, sourcing, screening, and recruiting qualified candidates to support the company’s staffing needs. This role plays a key role in delivering a positive candidate experience and ensuring a seamless onboarding process for new hires. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will work closely with hiring managers and support recruiting and onboarding efforts for both Pinnacle Contracting Services and its sister company, Southern Design.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and create job descriptions.
- Frequent travel to job fairs, schools, and other events to recruit candidates.
- Frequent travel between NC and GA.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates.
- Post job openings and source candidates through job boards, social media, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
- Manage Cultural Index surveys from applicants.
- Review applications, screen candidates, and conduct initial interviews.
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers.
- Provide interview feedback and candidate summaries to hiring managers.
- Possible involvement with onboarding.
- Maintain accurate applicant and employee records within HR systems.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Track recruiting metrics and provide reports as requested.
- Assist with other duties as assigned.
