About the role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a crucial role in the recruitment process at Maryhaven, Central Ohio’s largest and most comprehensive behavioral services provider. This position is responsible for sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, and offering candidates to fill open positions within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Full-cycle recruitment efforts including sourcing, qualifying, interviewing, and offering candidates
- Partnering with hiring managers to recruit and hire for open positions
- Ensuring compliance with legal requirements of talent acquisition, selection, and hiring guidelines
- Maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive information with integrity
- Paying close attention to detail and demonstrating initiative in managing multiple tasks
- Working independently and demonstrating initiative without direct supervision
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in related field
- At least one year of experience in recruitment
- Experience with a talent management tracking system
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Basic knowledge of talent acquisition legal requirements
- Ability to handle confidential information and maintain high levels of confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work without supervision and demonstrate initiative
