About the role

The Talent Acquisition Consultant serves as a strategic recruiting partner to business leaders across Marsh McLennan Agency, leading full-cycle recruitment efforts for a broad range of positions within Employee Health & Benefits, Retirement Services, Business Insurance, Finance, Operations, and Corporate functions. This role is responsible for developing and executing talent acquisition strategies that attract, engage, and retain top talent while supporting organizational growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake meetings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Partner with hiring managers and senior leadership to understand workforce needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
  • Source and engage passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, professional networks, referrals, and other recruiting channels.
  • Conduct candidate assessments and interviews to evaluate qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
  • Provide consultative guidance to hiring managers on market trends, compensation, candidate availability, and hiring best practices.
  • Drive a positive candidate experience by maintaining clear communication and ensuring a seamless recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources and business leaders to develop competitive offers and facilitate successful hiring outcomes.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics to identify trends, improve processes, and support data-driven decision making.
  • Support diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives by implementing inclusive sourcing and selection practices.
  • Maintain compliance with all employment laws, company policies, and recruiting procedures.
  • Participate in employer branding, workforce planning, internship programs, and strategic talent initiatives.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in professional services, insurance, consulting, or financial services.
  • Prior experience working for a recruiting or staffing agency, executive search firm, or talent solutions provider, with demonstrated success sourcing and placing professional-level talent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively engage candidates, hiring managers, and senior business leaders.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands and manage multiple requisitions simultaneously.
  • Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated multitasking abilities with the flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and hiring needs.
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and take ownership of recruiting initiatives.
  • Collaborative team player who builds strong relationships and partners effectively across Human Resources and business functions.
  • Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), preferably Workday or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with recruiting metrics, reporting, and talent analytics.
