Talent Acquisition Specialist

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from intake and sourcing through to offer.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements, define candidate profiles, and develop sourcing strategies.
  • Act as a trusted point of contact for hiring managers, providing regular pipeline updates, market insights, and guidance throughout the hiring process.
  • Proactively follow up with hiring managers to secure timely interview feedback and decisions, keeping roles moving and candidates informed.
  • Proactively source candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, internal databases, referrals, and other talent channels.
  • Develop and refine sourcing approaches, including Boolean searches, talent mapping, and outreach messaging that attracts strong, relevant candidates.
  • Sell LotusWorks opportunities to prospective candidates, pitching our roles, culture, and career paths with energy and conviction to convert passive talent into engaged applicants.
  • Screen applications, conduct initial phone screens, and rigorously assess candidate suitability to ensure only high-quality candidates are presented to hiring managers.
  • Develop subject matter expertise in the engineering services LotusWorks provides, such as commissioning and construction services, to speak credibly with candidates and hiring managers and assess talent effectively.
  • Deliver a positive, professional candidate experience at every stage, ensuring candidates receive timely communication, constructive feedback, and a clear view of next steps.
  • Pre-close candidates throughout the process by understanding their motivations, compensation expectations, competing offers, and counteroffer risk early, helping to manage offers effectively and maintain a high offer acceptance rate.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles, nurturing relationships with prospective candidates over time.
  • Contribute to employer branding, recruitment marketing, and candidate engagement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate and requisition records within applicant tracking systems, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
  • Participate in Talent Acquisition projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Take ownership of personal development, learning from feedback, coaching, and hands-on experience.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a recruitment, talent acquisition, or HR role, ideally with exposure to sourcing, screening, or interview coordination (agency or in-house).
  • Demonstrated experience sourcing and engaging candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, or other talent channels.
  • A sales mindset that is persuasive, resilient, and motivated by results, with the ability to pitch opportunities convincingly and handle objections from candidates and stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally and confidently with candidates, hiring managers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Comfortable following up persistently and professionally with hiring managers to keep hiring processes on track.
  • Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency, with the ability to work at pace and prioritize effectively in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment, while maintaining a high level of accuracy at all times.
  • Congfident and proactive in direct communication, comfortable conducting phone screens and engaging candidates and stakeholders via phone as required.
  • Strong judgment in assessing candidate quality and fit, with a commitment to presenting only well-matched candidates.
  • A genuine focus on candidate experience, with the ability to build rapport and represent the LotusWorks brand positively in every interaction.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in job postings, candidate assessments, and recruitment records.
  • Working knowledge of applicant tracking systems and recruitment tools; proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset with a willingness to take initiative and collaborate effectively with teammates and support functions.
  • Eagerness to continue learning and developing within the Talent Acquisition function.

Qualifications

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline is preferred.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $70,000 per year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum base salary LotusWorks may offer for this role, and the final rate will be determined by factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for an annual performance-based bonus of up to 10%, tied to individual performance and the achievement of established KPIs. The salary range shown reflects the minimum and maximum salary the company may offer for this position. The final rate will depend on factors such as skills, experience, and qualifications.
