Talent Acquisition Specialist
- Responsibilities:
- Assists with administration of day-to-day human resources operations.
- Owns talent acquisition including recruitment, requisition management, job post administration, and administration of pre-boarding tasks.
- Supports other projects or implementations on the Human Resources team.
- Researches, gathers, and analyzes data to prepare and route position requisition forms for approval.
- Manages job position postings within IHI's applicant tracking system (ATS) and third-party job boards.
- Sources candidates to build a robust talent pool, both active and passive.
- Collaborates with the HR team to devise new recruitment strategies and implement them.
- Reviews applicants, identifies the most qualified for further consideration, and leads candidate interview scheduling.
- Coordinates job offers and offer letter generation, guiding managers through the offer stage.
- Processes pre-hire verifications, including criminal background searches, employment verifications, education verifications, and reference checks.
- Assists with phone screens and candidate interviews.
- Serves as co-collaborator in organizing new hire orientation.
- Ownership of the PALS (Peers Achieving Lasting Success) program for new hires and other employee engagement activities, as requested.
- Participates in and/or directs departmental projects.
- Establishes and maintains personnel files as required by law.
- Represents IHI in recruitment forums (e.g., job fairs, panels, etc.).
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree, ideally in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of related talent acquisition experience in a healthcare environment.
- Direct experience in recruitment of clinical staff highly preferred.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Knowledge of ATS (applicant tracking system) and HRIS (Human Resources Information System) software.
- Experience with Workable ATS and ADP HRIS preferred.
- Knowledge of third-party recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn and Indeed preferred.
- Valid driver's license and insured automobile required.
