Talent Acquisition Specialist

Reporting to the Manager, People & Culture, the Talent Acquisition Specialist (6 Month Contract) will be responsible to help HPS attract top talent across technical, engineering, and manufacturing hourly functions. In this full-cycle recruitment role, you’ll be responsible for sourcing, engaging, and hiring candidates who will contribute to the continued success of HPS. You’ll use tools like UKG Recruiting and LinkedIn Recruiter to find the best people, build strong pipelines, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Sourcing
    • Manage full-cycle recruitment for roles in Engineering, IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales, and Customer Service.
    • Support recruitment efforts for select roles in the U.S.
    • Create compelling job postings that attract qualified candidates.
    • Source candidates using UKG Recruiting, LinkedIn Recruiter, and creative techniques (Boolean search, networking, referrals).
    • Build and maintain a pipeline of talent for current and future hiring needs.
  • Collaboration & Employer Branding
    • Partner with hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
    • Promote HPS as an employer of choice through job postings, social media, and networking.
    • Represent HPS at career fairs, industry events, and professional networking opportunities.
    • Share recruitment insights and market trends with hiring teams.
  • Recruitment Operations & Continuous Improvement
    • Ensure compliance with employment laws and internal hiring policies.
    • Track and analyze recruitment metrics to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Explore new tools and best practices to enhance talent acquisition.
    • Support additional HR initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably in manufacturing, engineering, or technical roles.
  • CHRP preferred.
  • Proficiency in UKG Recruiting or similar ATS, and LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Experience with creative sourcing methods beyond traditional job boards.
  • Strong knowledge of interview techniques and candidate assessment.
  • Ability to manage multiple roles in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Experience recruiting in the U.S. is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Passion for delivering an outstanding candidate experience.
