We are seeking a Regional Talent Acquisition Specialist to support recruiting across our North Central Region (Chicago, Minneapolis, Detroit, Columbus, and La Crosse) and provide the highest quality candidate experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead and support talent acquisition efforts with the TA Manager across the North Central Region (NCR).
- Partner with hiring managers through weekly recruiting meetings to align on evolving studio hiring needs and priorities.
- Partner with our HR team and TA Manager in the North Central region to define, implement and execute effective recruitment strategies.
- Proactively identify, engage, and cultivate relationships with top industry talent to support Gensler’s growth.
- Collaborate with the regional talent acquisition team to evaluate and advance qualified candidates for open roles.
- Manage the full-cycle screening process, including conducting phone interviews and assessing candidate fit.
- Open requisitions, manage recruiting workflows, including requisition management, candidate dispositioning, and role closure.
- Advise Studio Leaders/hiring managers on hiring strategies, including candidate negotiations and offer recommendations.
- Contribute to outreach and pipeline development for the Summer Internship Program.
- Maintain accurate compensation data and staffing reports to support hiring decisions and workforce planning.
- Support Campus recruiting activities as needed.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of recruiting experience, preferably 5 years within the Architecture and Interior Design industry.
- Proven experience sourcing candidates and leveraging industry networks.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet competing deadlines and manage expectations.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
- Foundational understanding of human resources and recruiting practices.
- A positive, engaging attitude that contributes to a collaborative team environment.

About the Role
The base salary range will be estimated between $100,000 - $120,000. Gensler’s total compensation package is multi-layered and includes a base salary, two annual bonuses paid in December and June, an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP), and profit sharing.
