About the role

The Talent Acquisition Specialist, reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, will source, attract, and identify top talent to fill open requisitions across FUJIFILM Electronic Materials U.S. (FEUS) locations. This onsite position requires experience recruiting for chemical production, high-purity manufacturing, semiconductor materials, specialty chemicals, or pharmaceutical manufacturing. Success hinges on a strong grasp of technical manufacturing roles, exceptional sourcing skills, and the ability to build trusted partnerships with hiring managers in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Recruit top talent, including sourcing and interviewing for all assigned FEUS facilities.
  • Develop, determine, and implement recruiting best practices for diverse hourly, non-exempt, and exempt positions.
  • Partner with hiring managers to define position requirements and ideal candidate qualities.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and HR to create job descriptions as needed.
  • Screen candidates for technical qualifications, manufacturing experience, safety mindset, and ability to work in regulated production environments.
  • Coordinate interviews, provide hiring recommendations, and facilitate timely hiring decisions.
  • Manage the job requisition log and applicant/interview/hire reports.
  • Assist with interview question development as needed.
  • Source passive and active candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, industry associations, technical schools, employee referrals, networking, and specialized recruiting platforms.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years of full-cycle recruiting experience supporting manufacturing or industrial operations.
  • Experience recruiting technical manufacturing professionals in chemical, semiconductor, pharmaceutical, specialty chemical, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and modern sourcing tools; iCIMS experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or other regulated manufacturing systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of employment regulations (DOL, EEOC, FLSA).
  • Familiarity with various organizational functions (manufacturing, quality, sales, marketing, engineering, information systems) and their hiring challenges.
  • Strong communication skills to influence and persuade across all organizational levels with confidentiality, professionalism, and tact.
  • Ability to summarize complex issues and present recommendations clearly.
  • Capacity to work under pressure in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment with shifting priorities and multiple deadlines.
