About the role
Block LLP is seeking a driven and relationship-focused Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the firm's continued growth by attracting, engaging, and hiring exceptional talent across all departments. This role will play a critical part in identifying top candidates, creating an outstanding candidate experience, and partnering with hiring managers to build high-performing teams.
Responsibilities
- Manage the full-cycle recruiting process from sourcing through offer acceptance
- Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop recruiting strategies
- Create and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms
- Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and direct outreach
- Conduct phone screens and initial candidate assessments
- Career experience coordinating interviews and maintaining communication throughout the hiring process
- Extend offers and assist with offer negotiations and acceptance
- Deliver a professional, positive, and engaging candidate experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process
- Promote Block LLP's culture, values, and career opportunities to prospective employees
- Support employer branding initiatives and recruiting events
- Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
- Collaborate closely with department leaders to understand workforce needs and hiring priorities
- Participate in hiring strategy discussions and talent planning initiatives
- Support onboarding coordination to ensure a smooth transition for new hires
Requirements
- 2+ years of full-cycle recruiting, talent acquisition, staffing, or related experience
- Proven ability to source and attract qualified candidates across various professional levels
- Experience conducting candidate interviews and evaluating qualifications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple open requisitions simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and leadership
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience recruiting for legal, professional services, healthcare, or corporate environments
- Experience using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Workable, or similar tools
- Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting best practices
- Experience supporting high-growth organizations with ongoing hiring needs
- Familiarity with employer branding, talent marketing, and passive candidate sourcing strategies
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
