Talent Acquisition Manager, Cloud-Build

About the role

As a Talent Acquisition Manager supporting Cloud-Build at Slalom, you will play a critical role in helping scale the teams that design, build, and optimize modern technical solutions for our clients. In this role, you will partner closely with Cloud-Build capability leaders across the Americas to understand workforce needs, shape talent strategies, and hire high-performing technical consultants who can support complex client transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract diverse, high-quality technical talent across multiple platforms, technologies, and markets.
  • Partner closely with Cloud-Build capability leaders, hiring managers, and practice leaders to understand business priorities, role requirements, technical skill needs, and evolving market landscapes.
  • Recruit across a range of Cloud-Build roles, including software engineers, cloud architects, platform engineers, DevOps/SRE practitioners, technical consultants, and capability leadership roles.
  • Build and maintain strong knowledge of the competitive technical talent market, including emerging industry trends, in-demand certifications, evolving technology stacks, and regional hiring dynamics.
  • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including talent mapping, sourcing, outreach, screening, stakeholder alignment, interview process management, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Cultivate and expand Slalom’s employer brand by engaging with cloud and technology communities, attending industry events, and nurturing long-term relationships with skilled practitioners.
  • Use data-driven insights to refine recruiting approaches, improve funnel health, forecast talent needs, identify hiring risks, and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Ensure an exceptional candidate experience through transparent communication, timely feedback, and a personalized, relationship-focused approach.
  • Collaborate with and mentor other recruiters, sharing best practices and contributing to the continued evolution of Slalom’s TA processes, technical recruiting strategies, and hiring approach.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of talent acquisition experience, with at least 2 years focused on technical recruiting.
  • Proven success recruiting for cloud, software engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure, or related technical talent.
  • Demonstrated ability to recruit for a wide range of technical and leadership roles, from individual contributors to architects, consultants, and leaders.
  • Ability to understand technical requirements, translate business needs into talent strategies, and consult with stakeholders on market realities, candidate profiles, and hiring approach.
  • Exceptional relationship-building skills with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders, hiring managers, interview teams, and candidates.
  • Experience leveraging recruitment technologies, CRM/ATS platforms, market insights, and social sourcing tools to enhance outcomes.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in hiring.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the technical talent market, including experience recruiting for software engineers, architects, platform engineers, data/cloud technologists, and technical consultants across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud ecosystems.
  • Experience in managing the full-cycle recruitment process, including talent mapping, sourcing, outreach, screening, stakeholder alignment, interview process management, offer negotiation, and onboarding support.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment while maintaining quality, candidate care, and a consultative approach.
  • Experience in building and maintaining strong knowledge of the competitive technical talent market, including emerging industry trends, in-demand certifications, evolving technology stacks, and regional hiring dynamics.
  • Experience in using recruitment technologies, CRM/ATS platforms, market insights, and social sourcing tools to enhance outcomes.
  • Experience in cultivating and expanding Slalom’s employer brand by engaging with cloud and technology communities, attending industry events, and nurturing long-term relationships with skilled practitioners.

Pay

The targeted base salary pay range for Talent Acquisition Managers is $90,000 to $120,000. In addition, individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. Actual compensation will depend upon an individual’s skills, experience, qualifications, location, and other relevant factors.
