The Talent Acquisition Manager leads PayneCrest Electric's full-cycle recruiting function and serves as a strategic partner to business leaders in attracting and hiring top talent. This role is responsible for developing workforce and recruiting strategies, building proactive talent pipelines, and delivering exceptional talent that enables the company's continued growth. The successful candidate is an experienced talent acquisition professional who thrives on proactive sourcing, relationship building, and identifying passive candidates in highly competitive markets. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple critical searches while influencing hiring decisions and continuously improving recruiting processes and the overall candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead full recruitment lifecycle for exempt and non-exempt positions.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies aligned with workforce planning, project demands, and business priorities.
  • Guide candidates through PayneCrest's interview and assessment process while partnering with leadership to make informed hiring decisions.
  • Lead recruitment efforts ranging from experienced individual contributors to executive and operational leadership positions.
  • Build and maintain pipelines of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, ZoomInfo, networking, referrals, industry associations, and direct sourcing techniques to identify passive talent.
  • Develop compelling outreach messaging and employer branding initiatives that attract top talent.
  • Direct candidate communication throughout the hiring process to ensure professional and positive experience.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Oversee relationships with external recruiting agencies and negotiate agreements as needed.
  • Stay current on employment trends, labor market conditions, and recruiting best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of progressive full-cycle recruiting experience with responsibility for sourcing, interviewing, negotiating offers, and managing multiple concurrent searches.
  • Demonstrated success recruiting exempt professionals within construction, engineering, operations, manufacturing, industrial, or related technical industries.
  • Experience partnering directly with hiring managers and senior leadership.
  • Strong passive candidate sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other sourcing platforms.
  • Experience utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
