Talent Acquisition Consultant: Premier Banking

Regular, full-time position. Candidate must be located in Charlotte, NC; Atlanta, GA; or Greensboro, NC with an in-office expectation of 5 days per week. Fluency in English required. Work shift: 1st shift (United States).

About the role

Attracts, sources, and acquires skilled talent to meet organizational needs while contributing to recruitment process improvements. Coordinates recruitment activities such as candidate screening, job postings, and reference checking, and helps support talent staffing and workforce planning efforts.

Responsibilities

• Acquires skilled labor through coordinating full-cycle recruiting processes, including candidate sourcing and talent evaluations under limited supervision.
• Conducts talent screenings, assessments, and reference checks to ensure candidate fit and quality.
• Coordinates job advertising and posting efforts internally, externally, and with third-party recruiting agencies.
• Builds and maintains talent pools and communities through internet mining and database management.
• Supports talent staffing and workforce planning initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
• Provides guidance, coaching, and training to junior teammates within the talent acquisition function.
• Interfaces with leaders and stakeholders to provide industry, market, and peer group insights to enhance the organization’s talent strategy and initiatives and plan for future talent needs.
• Partners and communicates with teammates within and outside of own job area to hire and retain top talent.
• Organizes and participates in employment fairs and campus recruiting events to prospect talent.
• Makes adjustments or recommends improvements to recruitment processes to enhance recruiting effectiveness and achieve operational targets with a significant impact on the job area results.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training, and work-related/business experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional recruiting experience.
• Ability to clearly articulate the organization's value proposition, mission, values, and strategic competitive advantages.
• Practical knowledge of recruiting processes, risk, and compliance.
• Strong business acumen and organizational savvy to anticipate future talent needs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven success recruiting revenue-generating talent within Premier Banking, Wealth Management, or related financial services businesses through strategic sourcing, networking, and direct outreach to passive candidates.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with Regional Directors and senior leaders to develop territory-specific talent strategies, competitive market intelligence, and proactive talent pipelines.
• Highly consultative and resilient recruiter with experience influencing executive stakeholders, building strong business relationships, and delivering results in a competitive, high-touch talent market.
• Expertise in using recruiting databases such as Workday, Phenom, and other platforms.
• Familiarity with Vendor Management Systems and recruiting tools such as Applicant Tracking Systems, CRM, and video interviewing technology.
