Tailormade Sales Assistant

Position Summary

The Sales Assistant supports TM Travel Consultants in administrative tasks, coordinates bookings, and ensures service standards.

Responsibilities And Accountabilities

• Provide sales support to Travel Consultants as assigned
• Maintain A&K service and communication standards
• Act as a point of contact when a Travel Consultant is unavailable
• Create and format proposals for Routings, Signature or custom itineraries, products as provided from DMCs
• Monitor DMC correspondence and confirm services
• Follow up with guests/Travel Agents on additional services
• Prepare personalized documents and special inclusions
• Research competitive pricing and coordinate updates with Travel Consultants
• Collaborate with Travel Consultants on service gaps
• Ensure booking financials are balanced and payments are processed
• Assist Guest Relations with post-tour issues
• Work in a team environment and maintain a harmonious relationship with colleagues and vendors
• Perform special projects as required

• Global Geography and destination knowledge
• Detail-oriented organization and accuracy in data entry
• Teamwork and independent work ability
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and internet search engines
• Basic Sabre skills preferred
• Knowledge of Internet search engines
• Ability to read, write, and speak English; additional languages a plus

Education And Experience

• Travel School or college degree preferred
• High School diploma required
• Relevant travel industry experience preferred

Special Requirements

• Evening, weekend, and approved overtime may be required

Pay And Benefits

Hourly position with annual earnings of approximately $40,000–$42,000, with additional earning potential through sales incentive opportunities.
