About the role

The Tailor position at ZEGNA, located in the Beverly Hills boutique, is part of the Retail team. Your responsibilities include performing precise alterations, consulting with clients, managing workload, and collaborating with the store team to maintain a premium in-store experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform precise, high-quality alterations that reflect ZEGNA’s tailoring standards and aesthetic.
• Consult with clients and Client Advisors during fittings, offering expert guidance on garment construction, styling, and fit.
• Take full ownership of all garments leaving the tailor shop, ensuring excellence in workmanship and customer satisfaction.
• Manage tailoring workload efficiently, maintaining clear communication on timelines, delays, and expectations.
• Collaborate with the store team to support smooth operations and uphold a premium in-store experience.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in luxury tailoring or alterations.
• Skilled in garment construction, fittings, and finishing techniques.
• Known for your attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Thrives when solving technical challenges and delivering high-touch service.
• Communicates fluently in English and feels confident working in diverse teams.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English.
• Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
