About the role
TAE is seeking talented professionals to join our dynamic team. As a leader in fusion energy technology, we are committed to innovation and the development of sustainable solutions. We are currently seeking individuals with expertise in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plasma Physics, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, and Neutral Beams/Lasers.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design and development of fusion energy systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges
- Develop and optimize plasma-based technologies
- Participate in the research and development of new materials for energy applications
- Support the integration of advanced technologies into our fusion reactors
- Contribute to the advancement of plasma physics and energy storage solutions
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Plasma Physics, Engineering Physics, Materials Science, or related field
- Experience in plasma-based technologies and energy storage systems
- Strong understanding of fusion principles and their practical applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Passion for advancing the field of fusion energy and contributing to global sustainability efforts
Qualifications
- Relevant research experience in plasma-related fields
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Track record of delivering on mission-critical projects
- Experience in energy, electrical, or mechanical engineering
Skills
- Advanced knowledge of plasma physics and its applications
- Experience with neutral beams and lasers
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Schedule
