Tack Truck Driver - CDL B with Tanker Endorsement

General Description

The Tack Truck Driver operates a CDL-regulated vehicle that applies specialized emulsions and/or liquid AC to roadways.

Key Duties

• Familiarity with the safe and efficient operation of paving equipment, including but not limited to tack truck
• Knowledge of all USDOT and FMCSA regulations
• Perform daily safety checks of fluid levels for leaks and damage to equipment prior to operation, notifying foreman of any concerns
• Understand and execute paving procedures while following instructions to meet the standards of the project
• Understand and execute different emulsions and/or liquid AC
• Flexibility with schedule changes, location changes, time of shift changes

Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and/or carry 50+ lbs
• Valid Class A or B CDL and driving record within MVR policy guidelines
• Valid tanker endorsement on CDL
• Current Medical Examiners Certificate (FMCSR part 391.41)
• PREFERRED: tack truck experience
