Job Summary

Grand Victoria Casino is offering a Dealer School for internal and external candidates to become Table Games Dealers. The program includes a 8-week training course and an audition process. This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

• Treat guests and colleagues with respect and hospitality, fostering a welcoming environment.
• Collaborate with coworkers to provide thoughtful, supportive, and personalized service.
• Attend 90% of training classes.
• Pass a math assessment and audition.
• Perform basic mathematical functions.
• Obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
• Work in areas with varying noise, temperature levels, and crowds.
• Present a professional appearance and demeanor.
• Work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Must have effective communication skills.
• Must attend 90% of training classes.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical functions and pass a math assessment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active Illinois Gaming License.
• Must be physically mobile and able to stand/walk for 8 to 12-hour shifts.
• Must have excellent guest service and communication skills.
• Must be able to work in areas containing dust, varying noise and temperature levels, lighting, vibrations, and air quality.
• Must present a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Must have a good attendance record and be in good standing.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Must possess effective learning skills.
• Must be able to ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period.
• Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended periods.
