TA POD Technician

Position Summary

This job is a specialized position, working in the POD (print-on-demand) shop in Orlando, FL. Shop work will include, printing, maintaining the in-house POD system, staging, and packing loads for deployment, inventory, building power cabinets, and any other aspect of keeping the POD shop in good working status. This job requires knowledge in the computer printing process, book binding and the candidate must be mechanically inclined. We would like to have this person in our Orlando office for 2 days per week, about 5-6 hours per day.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides support for the POD teams.
• Keeps up to date with POD needs and works closely with all the POD team members.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the EMS system, active field work, and active issues seen by other POD teams.
• Other duties as assigned by Account Manager or TA Director.

• Works will with a distributed team. Demonstrates being a team player, with the desire and ability to serve and care for direct and extended team members.
• Whether speaking to groups or one-on-one, this person must be an effective communicator.
• Has good writing skills.
• Must have good computer skills.
