About the Role

The Retail Assistant Manager partners with the Store Manager to lead and develop the store team, delivering T-Mobile’s goal of earning a place in customers’ hearts and driving Mobile Associate success.

Responsibilities

• Infuse every store’s Mobile Assistant with a passion for T-Mobile’s Manifesto by orienting and grounding them to a standard of Loving Our Customers.
• Ensure every customer need is met, building confidence through a comfortable, simple, and problem-solving experience.
• Observe Mobile Associates’ customer interactions, providing feedback for development, training, and coaching.
• Manage customer wait time effectively.
• Stay current on products, services, and promotions.
• Lead by example, remaining up-to-date on products, services, training, and leadership best practices to serve as an expert resource.
• Interact directly with Mobile Associates to ensure they meet monthly success measurements and complete assigned training on time.
• Maintain store environment quality, adhering to national plan-o-gram standards and using visual displays/interactive devices effectively.
• Assist in executing Retail Methods & Procedures.
• Ensure team knowledge of store systems and corporate/store communications.
• Deliver financial results based on key performance indicators, managing store expenses, discounting, and credits.

Requirements

• 1 year of customer service and/or sales experience (retail environment preferred).
• Available to work a varied schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lead and mentor people to deliver great results.
• Outstanding communication skills for interacting with teammates and customers.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• High School Diploma or GED.
