Systems Test Engineer (West Union, SC)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the development of test plans, test designs, test objectives, and test cases.
• Identify, analyze and document defects, questionable behavior, errors and inconsistencies with the AMI solution.
• Work with development engineers in product design, code reviews, walkthroughs and product lifecycle inspections.
• Investigate problems of the test environment and bring to resolution.
• Respond to inquiries from development or other internal groups about the behavior of the AMI solution.
• Execute tests on the large scale network test environments and report test results with analysis.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in related field (Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience as a Systems Test Engineer, or related experience.

Preferred Skills & Experience

• IPv6 knowledge and experience.
• Networking knowledge and experience (VPN).
• SQL and Oracle database knowledge and experience.
• Experience with C/C# and Linux.
• Experience with Azure DevOps.

Physical Demands

This is a typical office job, with no special physical requirements or unusual work environment. Will need to be comfortable working outdoors (meter farm) on occasion in all types of weather. This is a safety sensitive role.
